By equipping our students with industry-based certificates and wage-earning opportunities in fields of their interest, we’re connecting businesses and the future workforce together to lead the charge on STEM and entrepreneurial learning in the city of Waco.
Work Based Learning
By providing hands-on experience in the fields of STEM Education and Entrepreneurship, students get the opportunity to develop Career Technical Education skills. Triple Win courses and internships center on an environment where ingenuity and collaboration thrive, effectively preparing students for the modern workforce. Work based learning classes follow the traditional earn and learn model, whereby students gain skills in their field of interest and compensation at the same time. Available certifications include Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30, American Welding Society, SolidWorks/ Computer Aided Design, Adobe Photoshop and Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
Informal Learning Environment
At Triple Win, students will learn to work and think outside of the box. From welding and woodworking to developing a business plan and selling products of their own design, these apprenticeships aim to complement the traditional classroom setting. Course offerings are split up into professional development, work-based learning, internships/externships, and competitive STEM teams. The intentionality of small class sizes and one on one time with instructors creates a space for students to build relationships with their peers and teachers through accountability, hard work and immersive training.
Out of School Time
Rather than restricting the completion of courses to the standard school calendar, Triple Win allows students flexibility in their training. By operating on a trimester schedule, students have the freedom to work on projects outside of the 9 month school year and earn compensation for their efforts. By offering availability during the summer and various school breaks, Triple Win gives students a safe, inviting space to learn and grow outside the classroom.
